| Last night me and MaXimum were flying on par for the course, when we say three enemies on a hill I swooped in and got 2 of them in one pass. I circled back and hit the third one, killed all three and only lost about 10 health. Then our team decided they wanted to take the last flag so I had to touch there tank up a little with a few rockets until they stopped taking it so I could get my fourth. I got a sniper with my fourth roadkill for the second time that game...I know he was pissed cause there was nothing he could do lol. Anyway that shit was pretty funny, I eneded the game 17/1 with the lone death from another teammate flying into me . Who else has gotten the fly-by wildcard? Im sure I could have gotten it a long time ago but just recently started roadkilling people more often. Alot of times roadkilling in the chopper can get you killed alot easier so I would just rocket them instead and move on, but I have to say theres no better feeling than RKing a group of snipers on a hill before they know what hit em...lol | |

| I got it a few weeks ago. I just remember that I was trying to get the wildcard so I was trying to roadkill anyone that was out in the open. I thought I wouldn't get it though because we were about to lose. | |

| Came close a few times. I can road kill anything in the havoc without taking damage...the apache is a whole different story for some reason. | |

| LOL It is half luck to nail a heli with a tank ... I posted one in the ChAos gallery I named "mmmmmmmmmmmmm" It's not like I wasn't trying to hit him, but yea definitely some luck there. Very satisfying nonetheless. =) One shot yumminess! | |

| Here's two more I just got: This one was a definite chopper-tank duel as my 12 health shows. hehe That last one is a two for one, Yazworm and someone else both landed choppers in the harbor there to repair and I shot them both on the ground! Me and Sun were in the middle of a TK war with those two guys pjc727 and gwneas, that's probably why they got sloppy enough to allow me that. p.s. How'd you sneak that comment in there Blame? lol

| BTW I know snipers actually apply math equations to make their shots deadly accurate, none of you go to that extent do you? lol I know that's what the various lines in sniper rifle and tank scopes/sites are for, but I just guesstimate .... I suppose a math wiz could be sick at BC. I'm not too steady sniping, I thought one of you might have some bolt action kung fu going on. lol I'm not too sure how to precisely gauge which lines to use.
I guess which line in the sights to use just becomes intuitive second nature?

ANSWER ME MEDIOCRITIES!!!!!!!!!! umm, well, my tactic for sniping is closing my eyes, taking a swig of vodka, standing on my head, singing "i kissed a boy and i liked it", and then i pull the trigger and hope i get a hit. Most times my parnts get mad at me, but i get the kill 9.9999999999999124 times out of 10 (there some math whizziness just for you) LOL

It is one of the hardest things to do. I have done it many times w/ the 120 but w/ the light tank only a few.

| done it with both and when they were in the air. ive done hit the choper twice with the light tank and maybe 12 times with the heavy tank. not easy at all but its just luck and when the pilot is close. (they gotta be bad too@) | |

I guess which line in the sights to use just becomes intuitive second nature? I dont know what each of the lines are there for either but im pretty sure on the sniper rifles they are just for show (in the game of coure). Now in the tank cannon I think they would work I just dont know how to use them accuratley lol. I do use the /\ on the gernade launcher when at long distance. You just line it up with one of them and see where that hits to get a gauge on the distance and use which evers best.

| hehe, k well what I'm asking about is precision sniping basically. Most of the rifles (tanks too) have lots of markings in the sites, like >>>>>>>>
^ ^ ^ ^
I don't know how to precisely use those, and I know IRL snipers actually calculate a lot of their shots with equations because they just can't afford to miss. I'm just asking if there is anything to it other than just getting used to it and making it feel natural. I know some of you guys are good snipers, and getting lots of headshots with the single shot bolt actions is still mostly outside my skill range. (unless the morons are running straight at me or standing still) I brought it up because I got those good tank heli shots but I'm only ever guessing which lines/ticks/markings to line up my shot on.
It's the same thing with the boats, that wildcard for 50 kills IAR with the boat seems nuts to me. The various grenade launchers are a little bit easier to gauge though IMO, one shot usually gives me the proper range idea, and which > to line up on. Clearer?
And your bratty comments are not needed blame!

| Yea that's what I'm asking about kilLA ... it would be pretty fun to get to a level sniping where you're actually doing a simple math equation in your head (obv in a fraction of a second) IRL snipers have spotters and shit helping them too, they can't miss or they could compromise their position and be killed. Sniping just seems like a good standard IMO to decide whether or not someone is a beast at the game or not. I'm good at Spec, pretty damn good, and I want to move to sniping more. P.S. I have that fragFX mouse controller but I haven't used it online yet, so far it's an $80 dust collector.

In real life you have to account for wind distance humidity and a whole bunch of shit so for the sniper rifle they really dont have any effect in bfbc that I know of. No matter how far away they are if you line it up on the center you will hit em in the head. I get some good head shots on moving targets at distance you just need to have a good feeling of how far to lead them based on how fast they are moving and the distance from you. I dont have an exact science to it you just have to try to judge it (its not to hard when you get used to it). Its really easy to hit a moving target from distance but headshots are a little harder. When you try to lead them with the shot you just need to do it high to try for the headshot and alot of times you will get it, just takes practice.

"No matter how far away they are if you line it up on the center you will hit em in the head."
Really? I didn't think that was so because bc does have bullet travel and drop factors in effect. hmmm That would be great welcome news! lol
