Grenadier is actually kinda hard. i got two kills with grenades so i started chasing people around and chucking grenades at them. i died a lot in the effort of course but i eventually got it

grenadier is EASY to get. I wasnt even trying to get it and I still got it. Grenade launcher is a whole nother story. I got SOOOO close with around 5 kills but then the game ended and I ws stuck with nothing.

i got grenade launcher on my first try to get it. ghost town CQ and kept shooting people and switching to my GL. died a bunch of times but it was worth it

I fucking love GR EOTL, I just went 19/1 on defender alone and stopped everyone dead in their tracks like an acme anvil. Yesterday I went 18/6 there when I joined maximum and irreduciblesun more than halfway through.

I never really play on EOTL in GR. My Favorite GR map is Oasis because I always seem to do amazing on that map and because the next map is always FI and thats my second favorite map ,lol. On CQ I like Crossing over because there are 3 choppers so even if there are people hogging a chopper, i have a chance od=f getting another one. CQ EOTL isnt bad either.

I used to like EOTL but lately Ive been freezing every time I play it. So I just skip the map or just stay out of the 4th base lol

I actually haven't frozen on CQ for like the last 3 weeks that I had my ps3. Its getting better for me. I NEED TO GET A PS3 SOON! or else I'm gonna be super- rusty like when I had the ps3 taken away for a month.

when I had a mic, I preferred to have it on even when I wasnt talking. I just liked to hear the different things that people have to say. Also, I had it on so that I could help my squadmates ingame .

Yea I agree with that, but often when I'm alone (like last night on GR EOTL) without a mic, I can focus more, listen for signals better and in a tank, for example, switch back forth between canon and turret way more effectively. I like using big ass headphones too, the sound is just so nuts, and it tells you so much.

Maybe I just need to shut up, not whine and it'll be the same. I don't think all the whining and yapping I do is any help. I think I'm quiet when I'm heating up. I still think we need a discussion here about how exactly to get and stay in said enigmatic 'zone.' I think there's more of a formula to it than we're admitting, and I still have some trouble with consistency. Some of my spec work is practically inhuman, but I can't seem to keep it that way ALL the time.

dark is a very consistent player, maybe you should ask him? I agree with what you're saying, but lately I find myself in a zone much more often (doing well in the chopper).

I honestly prefer to have my mic off for the most part, unless I'm invited to a squad. I don't notice any significant changes in my gameplay when I'm using or not using my mic.

I dunno, when I had a mic I enjoyed putting the voice changer on -5 and yelling at little kids for being noobs, lol. They would be like "IT WASNT ME!!!" after I asked them why they died. I was like "Dude I was right behind you, I got the avenger kill bonus." He would be like "YOUR MEAN!!!". lol

poor guy who was squaded with us in the 100 kill game. He was forced to kill or be killed lol. I forgot what he was playing but, it was just unbelievable how many players were in that game that were on our side and weren't doing shit. I think it was the 3rd guy who was also arming the crate and all that crap for us too.

Bastards, I missed being in that game by like 5 minutes!! Tons of people play bfbc as if it's not a shooter, like it's just gold crate kaboom! time and capture the flag hour. IrreducibleSun and I once got into a TK war with these snotty little skill 47 kids telling us we didn't know how to play the game, you weren't supposed to shoot anyone, you were supposed to capture flags, that's it!!!! D'oh killing the enemy is how you lose!!!

Yo Dark & Eternal, I liked everything we were talking about yesterday in squad. Cover eachother re-loading etc. One part of the game I need to work on is knowing the best routes ... when I'm positioned properly I can explode on people, but I'm fairly certain that I still wander into areas I shouldn't. Like on VR yesterday, when I was having some trouble taking the high mountain route to the left. Or how you guys are always warning me to watch out here or there because I'm close to spawn point that I'm unaware of. I know all the level layouts though, no problems there, although Par always just feels like a big circular mess to me, same for Crossing Over but less so.

I heard KiILA damaged his hand while he was doing some private business....so he'll be back in a week or two.

Anyways, good pics...I forgot about those games, seeing as how im playing like shit right now. Im on a 3 day slump. Not good.

And as for strategy its always good to start using it, but for discussion of that sort just go to the clan lounge, not here.

yea that guy was funny. Always dying, although I dont understand how he died so much, seeing as how we were sweeping the other team. I mean, 189 kills btw both of us and he managed to die 27 times? lol

if your in a slump i find it best to take a break, usually 1-2 days, recently i took a 2 day break and came back for a day and did great, the past 2 days i havent played either, just havent felt like it much, plus whenever ive gotten on it seemed like hardly anybody was on, 1-2 guys.

about the mic thing, whenever i play alone i never use it, i have noticed though when im in a good squad and no ones talking, if i dont use it i tend to focus more and do better, but this happens rarely b/c of my feeling of a need to communicate, especially when you see something or need health.

Yea I wasn't saying I'd rather not use a mic, I was more trying to nail down what exactly 'the zone' is. (again) It seems far more explicable to me than it's made out to be, like there might be some methods and tricks to get yourself into the proper mindset. What I was thinking when I posted was that quite often if I have a bad game, I go off all pissed off into a game alone, and usually destroy everyone in those games, and I never have a mic on in those cases. I did it two days ago on GR EOTL --- 19/1 all on foot w/ spec and only one heavy tank. I'm still not too sure how much of this game is intuitive and how much is active thinking.

I WANT THE FORMULA FOR GETTING IN THE ZONE!!! I'm still lacking some consistency.

Oops forgot to look, Dark, I thought this was in the clan lounge. You're in a 3 day slump? We did pretty well last night I thought ... 20/4 type stuff, I'm always happy with that.

No that was the exception to the normal games I had yesterday...It was ass kicking after ass kicking. My numbers sucked..but yea Im still thinking about taking a break but then again the game is so addicting
