Most F'ed up game ever!

I was playing GR last night on Oasis and had absolutely the worst game ever. Dark was with me in the beginning but had to go. Anyway, everything was cool at first and I was on the defending team. It quickly went down hill. I would see an enemy, proceed to empty a clip into him and then he would turn fire a round or two and, bang, I was dead. No headshot symbol appeared so I thought it strange that I could be killed with 1 shot at 100 health. I spawn and a few seconds later the same thing happens. Still no headshot symbol but a one shit kill nonetheless. It happens again and again and again and again. I was being killed by snipers, support, assault, specialists, you name it. I was furious at this point. I'd have a bead on a guy, aim for his head and still he'd turn and kill me with one shot. Has this ever happened to anyone else? I have never experienced anything like it. It did not seem like lag to me. Could they be cheating? This was by far the worst game statistically I've ever had, including the very first time I played this game online. I went like 15 minutes getting frickin raped with one shot kills and finally had to quit before I threw my PS3 across the room. My form went from 2 to 24 after that one game alone. I am still frickin pissed. WTF!

BTW, what is the headshot symbol.....I've never recognized it.

WoW that sucks!!! When I was playing everything seemed fine so I dont think the whole other team was cheating. I dont remember who we were playing against, but they might've been japs? or maybe kiwi's? lol who knows. We might've connected to a server on the other side of the world. But holy shit from a 2 to a 24 eh? I would've left if I were you. I think it was lag though.

Yea that has happened to me too, rarely though, don't know what it is ... but like you wrote a few times I have unloaded a clip straight into a guys head, he's fine and turns around and kills me one shot.

One thing I know has made me crazy frustrated is a gltiched fence on Final Ignition. Not sure too many people have noticed. It's an odd glitch where you can only fire one way through the chain links, I think you can fire in, but not out of it, the fence just absorbs all your shots. At least one of the fences acts that way, the one surrounding the fuel silos by the first base, if you're on defender, the one on the left, when looking towards the attacker base.

Something similar with tanks happens once in a while, you know your tank is at full health and somehow one shot from another tank kills you from the front ... I dunno how but I've heard a couple of you say the same thing has happened. I didn't know the back was more vulnerable at first, maybe there's another soft spot on tanks I have no clue about.

Yea tanks receive way more damage if they are hit in the ass...

I;ve never seen or heard of the fence glitch. I'm gonna have to check it out...BTW, Geo, i'm owning peole with the F2000. Its sooo fun, lol

u cant shoot in or out. no matter wat u cant shoot
thourgh it. its only in final ignition

the fence glitch is pretty true. u can shoot in but no out. very annoying when u realize ur going to die for sure. max u should have quit. never had a match like that though

Yea, pretty sure you can shoot into the penned in area. Is it like that with all the fences on Final Ignition? I don't recall having a problem with it anywhere else on the stage, I thought it was just the fence around those particular silos I mentioned earlier. Anyone know if I'm correct on that?

i can shoot in but i cant shoot out. not sure about urs, Geo though.

I just destroy the silos with rockets and that seems to solve the problem, lol

I think that everyone has had a game like that at one point or another. It was like that about 2 weeks ago and I was like 5 and 12 or some shit but for the most part I think that everyone has had a game like that

I had the worst game Ive had in months Yesterday on Acta NON verba, 13/18 kd. We were in a 5 vs 5 match pretty even although I shouldve left because I was lagging enough to where it would take more than half a clip to kill an enemy, plus I was getting beat out with My an94 vs some noob with an mg36 at medium range. So, Alvaro joins the other team making it 5vs6 and starts spamming sensors everywhere and spawn camping, he never got me but I saw him Knifing people at spawn point. He's coming off my friends list for good because thats all he does is join opposing team and spams sensors,Qscopes and spawn camps. Ohh well, ive kicked his ass plenty. Luckly I made up for this shitty game by have a couple good ones in a row so my form 2 didnt drop.

Yeah, I should have quit earlier. Anyway, I'm back up to 3 form after one day. I'm wondering if my wireless connection is the problem. I'm not too tech savvy. My router is not the wireless-N which I guess is best for gaming.

dude if I were you and could do it I would totally suggest going to a wired connection, I switched from wireless to wired and it is working out for me sooo much better, I stopped lagging as much as I used to and you dont ever have to worry if the connection is ever going to get lost, but if you cant I understand to, I am not tech savvy either but the best way to go is wired if you can do it

wireless seems to be working for me. I RARELY have lag. My ps3 says that the connection strength is around 90%, which is pretty good.

Definitely lag that was causing the mentioned problems. Ive had the same things happen a ton of times (My cable sucks) havent really been having to many problems like that recently though. When I do I just finish round and take a break and try to get back on at a later time thats not peak for everyone in my areas to be using cable. A wired connection would make a world of diffrence as well.

Ihe same problem to day and its infuritating.I didnt want to leave becasue I was playing with Ruthless and Gaus Mars. I hought it was exceptional hard for some reason, so I tried sniping. I unloaded 20 M95 bullets on ones guys headwhen he was sitting on the arty and not a single shot registered a hit.

I couldnt even fire a J-Dam as it wouldnt let me lock onto any vehicles.

Damn Chris I didn't know you were having those j-daming problems that sucks. They were rough games anyway, I have no clue how I came out of that shitstorm on EOTL with 20/20. I got into the zone at some point in that session. And yea 20/20 was fucking fantastic for that game, for those of you who weren't there. lol

Anyways today I had one of the worst days ever. The whole day I was lagging, not as much as Blitz though. I didnt know he couldnt jdam shit. I dont know why whenever a bunch of good players get together the game gets laggy as shit.

Anyways, so we keep tying losing on attacking, winning defending. Then we go to EOTL we are defending. I freeze (what a surprise) I come back on the same side. We get pushed to the 3rd base. We manage to hold them off til they have like 10 tickets left. I thought we were going to win when BANG crates blow up. That pissed me off. Then 10 secs later they get the fkn 4th base. So they get more than half of reinforcements. I lost it and turn off my ps3. I then come back and Ruthless and Gaius told me they actually won that round. So I apologized for bailing on them. I just couldnt take the bullshit though. That game must've lasted 40 minutes. I honestly felt discouraged when our team fell apart there. It was an intense game though. Having no mic sucks though, Ill buy one this week.


So thats not the end of my day. I come back after I go out and I join a random game. I end up in a game where there's 7 2's vs. just 2. Deconstruction attacking. Finished 10/5. They obviously win. We go to defending. We won eventhough Hernesse was mortar glitching like a little bitch. After that it went to Harvest Day. I stayed w/ crimson22. We lost so we resquaded. Kinda hard when the other team has an all-star team....

We join, VR and guess what? Our team fucking sucks!!! A bunch of bush camping pussies. We did the best we could but we lost. Did I mention today was laggy as fuck too? So, then we go to Deconstruction, same shit. Lag, lag, lag but we actually win (defending). We lose attacking. I resquad w/ Jalisco and we join EOTL. Laggy as shit. I guess the only highlight of the day was a drill kill on this VH guy. Funny as shit cuz every time I play against that clan I rape them lol. I keep playing and just being stupid. I go around and I fucking freeze again. Today I froze around 4 times. WTF!!! that was too much for me so I turned that shit off. I would say fuck it but y'all know how addicting BF is, you'll see me in 4 hours
