360 servers overloaded

People having problems getting into games, EA says they are adding servers to catch up with the high demand. Had a feeling this was going to happen. Hopefully we dont have the same problems and EA gives us enough servers on our launch day tomorrow but Im not counting on it. Maybe it was a good thing xbox got this first so they can possibly sort out server issues before our release. Saw several vids posted on youtube and read alot of reviews by 360 gamers that have played and it looks like this ones going to be a hit, but it might take a bit for them to catch up to the demand,personally I think they shouldve expected this considering the selling price and amount of people still playing BFBC.

I would have to agree with you eternal, but you never know what a game might do or might go and I think that this will be a good wake up call for EA with the release of BFBC2 maybe we can get some things in motion to create a lot less lag when a lot of people are on the servers for these games

Well, Im not going to worry about it if I have problems getting on tomorrow. Almost every NEW online shooter has its share of problems on launch day that devs need to patch, Ive already been through it with Socom,R2 and KZ2 so this is nothing new. Guess we'll see what happens tomorrow, might not be as bad for us since there are far more people on the 360 than ps3.

i am going to try and stay up tonight and download it after midnight, maybe it wont be as bad that early in the am. i may just have to wait till later in the day after i get off work to download it. i wish they would ahve just put it on a blue ray disc we could have bought at gamestop or another game store, so we wont have to wait to download it. i would have paid more for it that way...

and what is going to happen if our hard drive crashes or our ps3 messes up and we lose all data. will we have to pay again to download it. but i guess if we are buying it throught the psn the data should be saved with them, so in case a catastrify like that does happen, we could just download the game again, without having to pay.

I just left my cousin's house who was attempting play since this morning. He could get into a game and play for an hour then it'll kick you out and can't find anymore games..... sometimes taking an hour to get back in a game. But the game is really nice for what it is. People are always in the planes but they're almost ineffective against people and tanks and the AA guns will drop them very quick! The tanks die quick also. So overall it a bad ass arcade game that I can't wait to play.

Also one thing I've noticed about the game is that it doesn't count deaths while playing....so after the round you'll see how many kills and points you had. You have to look at the site to see your deaths, just maybe it will keep some people from worrying about their K/D ratio and do something productive. but probably not.

either he works for one of those companies , or someone can test my theory which would be to visit the UK ps store if you have a UK account. i would do it myself except something seems to be wrong with the ps store right now and i dont know if its only me getting the error message. anyways i tried but cant get in and check, so if someone else has a uk psn please do so if you can get into the store and let us know.

Checked, not there, I think there would be more than one person on if that was it. Did anyone find out what time the PS store updates?

Every site I go to everyone is saying around 4-6 PM thursday.... WTF?? but i read alot that there's no set update time just when they're ready..... So I have no idea but I know I dont want to wait till 6:00 before I even start DL'ing it.

I think the update is around 6pm est, hopefully im wrong and its much earlier. We might be screwed tomorrow if they dont stabalize the 360 servers, DICE said when its released for us that 360 will be priority #1 if servers still having problems.

they dont give a fuck about ps3, hasnt everyone realized that, xbox is where they make the majority of their moneys, so thats what the cater to.

and in response to crimson, im almost positive that it is updated whenever theyre ready, b/c one day when i was waiting for something it didnt come til like 8 pm, the other day the damn store was updated before i woke up so im positive its when theyre ready/fell like it.

No. Controls are a little different. Tank, Cars and Planes. 1st person is set when you get into them. Press up on the D Pad for 3rd Person. Right bumper is for your other main weapon. It takes only two rockets too take down a Tank. If you want to Snipe you'll have to be a Camper. The Arty is up every minute or two.
