PS3 Slim

so so so, I ordered my 120GB PS3 slim today, says it will be here wednesday and I cant wait for it to arrive, I dont know many people plan on getting a slim or if anyone has it already but if you dont ill let you know how I like it

yo i could use some info, like i said before, i was possibly contemplating the switch b/c like u i fear my ps3 may break soon as the freezing of bad company isnt good for the system and i would have to pay another $150, i am thinking about selling this one and using that money towards a slim. also would like some input on how the power consumption is, if you can tell or notice the difference, and how hot it gets compared to the older versions.

10-4 man I will let you know as soon as I get that beast hooked up, I sold my PS3 60BG on ebay for $350 with the buy it now option so I am guessing that it could be sold for more than that so it would definitely cover the cost of the system, I ordered mine from walmart.com and the 2 year extended warranty is 19$ and the 3 yr extended warranty which I paid for was 28.33 not to much of a difference so might as well do the 3 year plan. The only downfall I think, unless I am wrong is that the warranties you can only get online from what it says but I am not for sure as I havent bought to many high priced stuff from wal mart, I do think though if you go to gamestop they charge like $50 for an extended warranty so wal mart is considerably cheaper. I hope that some of this information helps in the decision making

that is a pretty damn good price for a 2-3 year extended warranty

thats what I was thinking, I was going to get mine at gamestop because they usually have them available when you go in and walmart very seldom has any playstation 3s in but when I seen that the price of the warranty was better and cheaper I just ordered mine online, but then I payed for shipping but since I get 10% off that paid for the shipping so I basically paid for taxes and the warranty add the shipping and my 10% off and I still only spent 336$ so I think that I got a good deal

nvm...i was reading the other thread and just now realized your total was about 336.

Well...I have about 500 bucks to spare. So I might be getting one soon.

ok, just to let you know, I bought mine online at walmart so it will be a little bit more for you because I get a 10% discount because I work for walmart so you might want to add about 30$ to that 336$ might be a little less for you depending on how fast you have it shipped, I had it shipped next day since I got 30$ off, hope that this helps
