Subject: Stock Market Are You In?? Fri Mar 13, 2009 2:16 pm

I was curious if anyone besides me and blood are invested in the stock market. If so what ya got your money in?? I currently have 4,000 shares of ESLR (Solar Company) and 2,300 shares of LVS (Las Vegas Sands). Currently my shares are valued at about $10,600 I was at $12,000 but the market dropped pretty bad last week and is just starting to come back up the past few days.

I dont have many shares yet, but mine are in Wal-Mart since I am an employee I buy about 10 shares each paycheck so right now I only have about 1000 shares

Wow, right now WMT is at $49.19 a share!!!! Unless walmart has more than one diffrent type of share you can buy (some do), your shares should be worth $49,000!! What is the stock symbol for the shares of walmart you have??

I follow it. Was gonna get into it, but everyone I've talked to has lost $1000's of dollars. I'll just wait.

I know what you mean.....But really right now is the best time to get into it since everything is so low. Most people that I know that lost alot of money were in the stock market before it went downhill. If you have the money I would get in now when you can get alot of stocks for rock bottom prices.

lol, 100 shares is still good for an expensive stock like that. I have alot of shares of lvs and eslr but the stock price was ALOT lower for the shares that I have. I bought 4000 eslr for $1.26 a share and 2300 Lvs for 2.16 a share. What price did you pay for the shares that you have? Has it gone up or down since you bought?

it fluctuates every day, we usually get an update everyday on what the price is, last year it got up close to 60$, but usually goes from 45$ to 50$ pretty regularly

Yeah the market has been pretty crazy latley. Just a year ago LVS was at $90 a share im hoping in the next couple of years or so the economy will recover and it can get back to that. 2300 x $90 = BIG MONEY!!!
